Technology Skills C, JAVA, Unix, mysql Project 2: PMC eNodeB Middleware Development (Nov-2008 to Jun-2010) Description eNodeB Middleware development consists of Call Processing and Supervisory subsystems. The supervisory part includes the Startup, Reset, Card Control & Monitor, and Shutdown of the eNodeB system. The Call Processing part includes the Cell Setup, Radio Bearer Setup and User Setup procedures. The Middleware interfaces with the Application layer, LTE-RLC, LTE-MAC and LTE-PHY layers. The middleware development project provided a good understanding of state machines, IPC and message queues implementation. Team size 100 members Contribution 6.Handled a team of 4 members as an acting Team Lead. 7.Design and development of RE(Radio Equipment) management module. 8.Design and development of Startup module to bring up various cards like FRX, FCM, FTM. 9.Support for field reported and integration testing defects from customer sites 10.Excellent exposure to a highly fast paced project delivery lifecycle involving multiple parallel releases and support. Technology Skills C, Unix, ClearTool Project 3: Veraz Virtu Implementaion (Jun-2007 to Oct-2008) Description The softclient, called Veraz Virtu, is an IMS-compliant user application that enables end users to access services including voice, instant messaging, prepaid calling card and video telephony. The important features developed are 3-party voice conference, 2-party video call, Instant Messaging, global phone book etc. The application layer protocol used is SIP. The project provides the understanding of client-server architecture. Team size 6 members Contribution 1.Design and Development of various Call-Control features, presence and IM. Prepared design for various call control features like Call-Hold, Call-Transfer, 3-party Audio and Video conferencing, Presence , Presence.winfo. 2.Active contribution towards integration testing at customer site and direct customer interfacing for support issues. 3.Provided training and guidance to other developers in the team. VSX-Sustenance involves the resolving of already existing issues in the code of user interface, web interface and the API interface of the phone. Technology Skills JAVA, C, Linux, Metroworks Code Warrior IDE Project 5: SCCP Implementation ( Jan-2006 to Jan-2007) Description The Project SCCP is an acronym for Skinny Client Control Protocol. This is a Cisco proprietary protocol, which involves the use of a Call Manager for registration and call control signalling. Very good understanding of the SIP and SDP over SIP protocol. Very good understanding of H.323 protocol which includes H.225 RAS , H.225 Call Signalling and H.245 control signalling and good exposure to functionalities like Master-Slave determination, capability exchange, and opening and closing of logical channels. The complete SCCP protocol support is implemented for VSX videophones with supplementary services like Call forwarding, Hold/Resume, Transfer and Conference. Acquired good exposure to different Audio/Video codec along with RTP/RTCP protocol for sequencing audio and video packets. The project provided a good understanding of socket programmimg.
