Service Description
I am a freelance writer from an academic background, having been published in several journals. My research centers on the popular reception of the classics in the early United States (ca. 1650-1800), specifically in regard to references in almanacs, newspapers, broadsides, and sermons, as well as bookseller distribution of the ancient authors and the translations thereof. As a hobby of mine, I research and study metal music. I've been a drummer for the past ten years, and with my background in history combined with my natural gravitation towards more obscure sects of the metal genre, I have become entranced with the study of sub-genres such as Pagan, viking, Celtic, black, folk, and neo-classical metal with regard to their birth, development, and growth, taking into account the respective local history of each genre. I am also very interested in writing about religion, politics, economic issues, and the like. I look forward to working with you.
